The Foundation is proud that The Edge recently received the New York Library Association’s prestigious 2014 Building Award for public libraries serving communities over 20,000 people! The award recognizes construction projects that significantly enhance services and demonstrate cost effective solutions to space challenges and innovative space usage.
The Edge is meeting an important community need by providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for our teens. Every day after school and on weekends, 50-75 teens visit The Edge to study, socialize, and participate in an exciting array of programs, supported by the Foundation–computer coding, music production, 3-D printing, crafts, and even book discussion groups.
We are so grateful to our individual, corporate, and foundation donors, who helped build The Edge and are funding these great programs. Your investment is making a huge difference in our community!
